This collection brings together photographs taken during my visits to English Heritage sites across England. From ruined abbeys and medieval castles to historic houses, monuments and ancient landscapes, the images reflect both the character of the places themselves and the experience of exploring them.
Rather than trying to document every detail, the collection is a personal photographic record of the architecture, atmosphere and changing light that make these sites so distinctive. Each visit offers a different glimpse into England’s past, from monumental stonework and surviving interiors to quieter details that are easy to miss.
As the collection grows, I’ll continue adding photographs from new visits and revisiting some of the country’s most remarkable historic places.
