This collection brings together photographs taken during my visits to National Trust places across England. From great houses and formal gardens to ancient woodland, rugged coastlines and historic ruins, the photographs reflect both the character of the places themselves and the experience of exploring them.
Rather than trying to document every detail, this is a personal photographic record of the architecture, landscape, atmosphere and changing light that make these places distinctive. Some visits are centred on grand interiors and carefully designed gardens; others are about quieter landscapes, details and viewpoints encountered along the way.
As the collection grows, I’ll continue adding photographs from new visits and returning to some of the country’s most memorable National Trust places.
